ART DIRECTORS CLUB NEW YORK IN NOVI SAD
-EXHIBITION OF AWARDED WORKS OF THE 90TH ART DIRECTORS CLUB NEW YORK EXHIBITION AND 9TH ADC YOUNG GUNS EXHIBITION-
ITD Gallery proudly announces a worldwide event of visual communication, prestigious 90th ART DIRECTORS CLUB NEW YORK exhibition which will be presented on April 26, 27 and 28 in Novi Sad through a series of events where the best works of creative professionals and young artist in the area of graphic design, advertising, packaging, photography and illustration will be presented.
After the New York premiere of the awarded works for 2011 in categories of established designers as well as young people of up to 30 years of age called YOUNG GUNS, the exhibition travels to the most important world and European cultural capitals. Audience in Novi Sad and Serbia will have the opportunity to exclusively see, for the third time in a row, the highest achievements in the world of design and advertising.
The exhibition is realized by Gallery ITD (Institute for Design Transfusion), authorized representative for Serbia in cooperation with Cultural Centre of Novi Sad and Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina with support of Secretariat for Culture of Government of AP Vojvodina and Department for Culture of City of Novi Sad.
„ART DIRECTORS CLUB NEW YORK – ADC 90th TRAVELING EXHIBITION“ and „9th ADC YOUNG GUNS EXHIBITION“ will take place at 4 locations in Novi Sad:
1. OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION OF AWARDED WORKS BY YOUNG ARTISTS – 9th ADC YOUNG GUNS EXHIBITION
LOCATION: CULTURAL CENTER OF NOVI SAD, YOUTH TRIBUNE SALON
TIME: Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 7PM
The exhibition at the Cultural Center of Novi Sad will be open until May 10.
2. SHOWING OF AWARDED VIDEOS, CLIPS AND VIDEO ART BY YOUNG ARTISTS – 9th ADC YOUNG GUNS EXHIBITION
PLACE: MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART OF VOJVODINA, SHOWING ROOM
TIME: Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 8:30PM to 10 PM
Friday, April 27, 2012 from 6 to 9 PM
3. MAIN EVENT – OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION OF WORKS AWARDED BY ADC NEW YORK IN THE FIELD OF ADVERTISING – ADC 90th TRAVELING EXHIBITION
PLACE: ITD GALLERY (INSTITUTE FOR DESIGN TRANSFUSION) AT THE PETROVARADIN FORTRESS
TIME: Friday, April 27, 2012 (World Graphic Design Day), 8PM
The official representative of ADC NEW YORK for South Eastern Europe, the world renowned artist prof. Euard Čehovin, will attend the opening.
Igor Pavličić, the mayor of Novi Sad, will address those in attendance.
Milorad Đurić, the provincial secretary for culture and public information will open the exhibition.
The event will be accompanied by music from Prkos Drumski.
The exhibition at the ITD Gallery will remain open until October 15, 2012.
4. ARTISTIC CREATIVE ACTION/PERFORMANCE – “ZEBRA” BY EDUARD CEHOVIN
PLACE: In front of the building of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina, Dunavska Street 37
TIME: Saturday, April 28, 5 PM
Special guest of ITD Gallery and Novi Sad, professor Eduard Cehovin will donate to the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina one of its works, which will be realized in the presence of audience on Saturday, April 28 at 5 PM on zebra crossing in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina.
This artistic donation will remain in permanent ownership of Musem of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina and City of Novi Sad to mark World Graphic Design Day as greeting that will be sent from Novi Sad to all graphic designers of the world.
